"Staff were lovely and helpful. The bar area was always clean and the service was always good. A recent change of company policy meant anyone booking through an external site (hotels.com, expedia etc) are now told to pay £25 a day use the gym and pool facilities. The facilities are good, but not sure its worth £25 a day. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and it has always been a pleasant trip. I have gone for business as a lot of my work is in Oxford and surrounding areas. The breakfast is ok, not much better than that but the food from the bar area is really good in an evening. Unfortunately, there isn't much in the immediate surrounding area, so if you cant drive/struggle on foot then this may not be so useful to you. The golf course always seems to be in lovely condition, although I have not played it."

Ideal location adjacent to Bar serving meals with drinks discount for hotel guests and a popular bistro restaurant, Short walk to RSC and town centre. Excellent staff ( must give a mention manager Fiona ) friendly helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area offering great suggestions of places to see or visit."

"Lovely place, didn't really use the bar or restaurant. Very pleasant place. Maid service did a good job everyday, reception were pleasant and helpful. Bed and pillows very comfortable. My only criticism would be the shower head in the bathroom could be updated, the shower was hot and powerful but small spray pattern."
