It is a medieval Armenian monastic complex dating back to the 11th to 13th centuries, located 60 km from Yerevan, in the ski resort town of Tsakhkadzor in Armenia. Nestled in the Pambak mountains, Kecharis was founded by a Pahlavuni prince in the 11th century, and construction continued until the middle of the 13th century. Not recommended for families – strange vibe but cl
"We stayed here because we had already paid and couldn’t cancel, but I wouldn’t choose this place again. The entrance is very basic – no reception desk or proper hotel sign, just a plain door with stairs going up. On arrival, even our taxi driver warned us that this hotel doesn’t have a good reputation ..."
