Definitely not within the class of a 4 star hotel. Not really a 4 star hotel. Compared to a hotel or inn in the U.S. the cleanness and comfort level was 2.5-3. It seems that hotels do not like AC in Yerevan, and the room was fairly warm at night (I am glad I did not come in July!!!). Mattress and bed was old and loose. The breakfast was fairly assorted with ham, egg, juice, cookies...., but some stuff reduced the rank of the breakfast. For example, all salads and fruits were from a few days ago....sliced tomato and cucumber from days ago was served in two days in a row when I stayed in the hotel!!!! AND I PAID $8 for this extra breakfast..... Definitely not within the class of a 4 star hotel. THe staff were polite and friendly however.

I enjoyed very quiet swimming pool and the clean room. Also I appreciate all the staff especially the lady respetionist who up-great compelimentry our room from junior suite to master suite for free of charge. I appreciate the quality for low price as well. Very quick check out.

My oasis in Yerevan
I've stayed at the Metropol many times. I know all the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and the service is excellent! Nothing is too much trouble. I'm already looking forward to my next stay at the Metropol later this year!

A great place with great staff. Very friendly. I've stayed at the Metropol many times and already I'm looking forward to a return visit. I highly recommend the Metropol hotel. By the way, speaking english is not a problem!
