The hotel is located in the Landmark, which makes it very convenient to do anything you need to do and go places. I booked the bay view room on 67th floor & it was spectacular. The room was clean & very nice; however, it could use some update to match today’s standard.
The concierge was very nice; however, the front desks were not. The clark’s seems polite, but not sincere. They’re not willing to do anything flexible, tells you right away that there’s no cleaning service at all due to the COVID, which itself is OK, but not offering lien service or bottle of water, or coffee from day 2 and on for multiple days stay-guests like us. We had to ask for them each & every time.
They gives you very hard to use very small L’Occitane skin care which last only 1 day & we had to purchase them after that if we want more. For this class of hotel in Japan, it should not be like that.
They charge you to use their pool also. It’s not unusual in Japan perhaps, but again, it should be free or much less for the guest in my opinion. It maybe shocking to guests who comes from North America & Europe.
