Hotel Schloss Schweinsburg

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel set in nice grounds. The main building used to be a palace. We were allocated a room in the adjoining building. When we first arrived, we were told that they were full, despite us having booked in advance. But this was soon sorted out. Our room was clean and tidy and spacious. It had a slanted ceiling right above the bed, so we had to be careful getting in and out. The wifi was not very strong in the room but luckily we did not really need it for anything special. The restaurant offered a buffet or the a la carte menu. The buffet looked a bit lacking so we chose the menu and the food was excellent. We can highly recommend the pork schnitzel and the salmon. Parking free and on site. All in all, a lovely place to stay."
