“Obwohl ein B&B, ein angenehmes Hotel. Sehr gute Lage - direkt an Altstadt grenzend. Parkhaus für 10,- pro Nacht. Sehr gute schallisolierende Fenster! (Mit geschlossenem Fenster hört man im Grunde nichts) Frühstück war einfach aber ok - B&B halt.”

“Property lacked amenities ie, bathroom toiletries, tissues, lack of a hair dryer, towels were worn. Choice of breakfast options was very limited, no fresh fruit & replenishment of options was not attended to adequately. However, property is a charming country getaway. The gardens are peaceful within easy walking distance from the town & railway station . If you’re not too fussed about the above details, it offers a very pleasant cost effective stay. ”

“Alles sehr gut, leider ist der Klostergarten nicht mehr so schön wie früher aber dafür kann das Hotel nun wirklich nichts. Es war ruhig und sauber. Der hauseigene Parkplatz ist etwas weit weg aber ok. Sonst modern und alles bestens. ”

“Unbelievable experience!! Loved everything about this castle… if you want to stay in a 750+ year old castle with unbelievable staff, stay here! Restaurant was great, food amazing… Ano (not sure if I spelled it right) and his wife (and staff) were unbelievably accommodating. Highly recommend staying here! Definitely worth the trip and money… can’t wait to come back!”

“Wir haben dort bei unserer Heimreise hier sehr kurzfristig (knapp 3 Std) vorher gebucht. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht. Es gibt ausreichende Parkplätze vor dem Haus und im Haus gibt es auch eine Bäckerei, wenn man sich schnell noch was holen möchte. Man wird morgens auch vom warmen leckeren Brötchenduft geweckt, wenn man die Balkontüre zum französischen Balkon offen hat. Hier hatten wir das Zimmer zur Gartenseiten. “I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. It was comfortable with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Furniture wasn’t new, but comfortable. Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a little small.
