"Stayed in a row in the basement (4 bed quad), the bathroom and showers had a musty smell to the point the hallway bathrooms and showers were bigger and nicer. Rooms are ok considering the price you are paying, be aware it might be on the tighter space so opening and packing luggage may be difficult. Highlights of the place are cold & hot water fountains, foosball table, nightly events & lots of open seating to socialize or for a change of scenery. Location is pretty great, only a quick 5 min ferry ride from Amsterdam Centraal (the ferry is very frequent - every 5 mins and runs 24/7). Rooms have AC but can still run warm as it’s not that strong. Laundry is available on the 1st floor for €5 per machine (so €10 for both wash and dry). Beware that towels aren’t provided but they can be rented for €6."

"Room was very compact, bed a good size and the air conditioning was definitely needed as no windows in room. The light box added the daylight effect but no window was unexpected. Using your phone as door key works well. Drawers under bed were needed as so little room to move once actually in. Did not get sent the email to check in during the day, so had to get that resent, staff were helpful in sorting that out."
