The area is typically busy in the daytime during weekdays, but is relatively quieter than other areas like Providencia and Bellavista at other times. Not a ton of restaurants nearby that open late, so better to find a place in the other barrios to eat before returning to the hotel at night. "I loved the pool and patio area. It was fabulous. The room did not have air conditioning and wifi did not work in the dorm. The hostel was generally clean and breakfast was good."

"This hostel is great. The staff are all super friendly, even the volunteers, and I really couldn't have managed without them, especially Claudia! The rooms were clean as were all the public rooms and areas. It's a great location, close to everywhere, with plenty of shops/mini markets nearby. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is... My room was above the front gate, which does not close quietly. So everytime someone came in or went out, it was a loud bang. Other than that, I can't...

"A very unique room, all is then are individual repurposed wine barrels! Fully furnished and have nice bathrooms built underneath. For those with mobility issues, be sure to ask for the newer rooms with bathrooms on the same level. All barrels have a view of the vineyard. There's a nice pool and lounge area. The restaurant is great and had a nice wine selections, including their own own cava. They offer the use of a hot tub and massage, for US$45 each. We didn't."
