“Great place to stay! Single rooms are perfect if you'd like to have your privacy and do not want to spend on Hilton :) You have your own little bathroom included. Kitchen is tiny but equipped enough for guests' needs. Reception staff is very helpful and will advise and organize everything you need during your stay in Monteverde. One of the best hostels I've ever been. Will miss that place!”

“I like the check in process on this property. The staff was very helpful too. There are a few restaurants nearby but going to the towns of Quepos or Manuel Antonio requires an uber but is very cheap. You can order food too via fiesta express.”

“This property was good for the price. It’s clean and comfortable. The property is dated but the owners really make this property a very nice stay. They are very accommodating and also helped with booking our tram reservation and provided recommendations for local eateries. We would stay again. Keep I mind if you have difficulty with stairs ask for the bottom floor rooms. Pura vida”

“Great location in great value”

“No towel service, people could not enter the pool because hand rails to low, tv service was terrible, asked cleaning lady for towels she never brought them, nobody ever came around to see if everything is okay, so we left after two nights and had to book a hotel elsewhere, is it possible to get a refund for the three nights we didn’t stay”

“Rooms were clean and tidy but the kitchen was not. Coffee maker had mold, silverware and dishes were not clean, we ended up eating out instead of cooking. Pool was beautiful and clean. Property was a wonderful place to relax and explore. Proximity to town was great assuming you have transportation. Check out the garden Maze nextdoor.”

“This place was absolutely wonderful. We had a lovely time for the 9 nights we stayed and the place truly felt like home. Dennys, the manager, is extremely kind, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. His sweet animals on the property were one of our favorite parts. Noella, Stella, and Arlo the cat were so cute. He has the dogs very well trained, and it's clear they are very loved. The property was beautiful with incredible views. We saw capuchins several times right outside our balcony! All...
