"After our 1st day, I jokingly told my wife that, literally the only thing I could even begin to complain about was the shower head. I kid you not, when we got in the next day,…new shower head (total coincidence). Staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was AWESOME and all the recommendations the staff made were excellent. Location is incredible. "

"Lovely ocean view suite which was nice, quiet and peaceful to watch the days go by while working. Although early check-in wasn't available, there is luggage storage and access to the common lounge/restaurant area which was a beautifully decorated space to enjoy with the water swing, floaties and access to swim right from the deck. "Inexpensive for what you get. I stayed in a private over the water cabin with my own private bathroom. Conveniently close to Bocas Town. Host was friendly, patient, and very helpful. Has its own restaurant and bar, so really no need to go anywhere else. I would rent again. "

"The owner is wonderful, so helpful and communicative! Place is very quiet and safe (and im a solo female traveler) room is basic but all you need. Wonderful coffee is made in the kitchen every morning. Will definitely stay here again. "

"Cool location in the lush jungle with walking paths and warm water! I only lost a little skin on the waterslide, but still so fun! The included hike to hospital point was surprisingly perfect. Nightime underwater glow worms were a trip! I didn’t book this room, but they put me in a sea urchin shaped upsides pool, it was cool. The second night I did get eaten alive by mosquitoes (from under the door and ceiling circle air vent wasn't a perfect closure. Fan was very needed, but still a bit hot one...

Facilities are fine including beer in the fridge and honesty box, and good choice of breakfast on the west-facing terrace on stilts out to the bay. We borrowed some bikes and cycled along to Bluff playa, which was practically deserted, but had good lunch places. "We loved Isla Bastimentos, the people, and the property but there is quite a bit of litter on the island and the water is not clean enough around the villa to swim in. It seemed that a lot of grey water and dirt went into to the water as it smelled."
