"I had never been to the island keys. This small resort seemed to represent a little of the magic I had always imagined. It is old, dated, and in some places could use updates such as shower faucets and kitchen supplies. But overall, I found it to be very charming in a rustic island way. It is convenient. The small bungalow I stayed in was nice and comfortable. The window air unit was loud but effective. The breakfast offered was generous and pleasantly presented from 9-11am. The pool was a 10!...

"Quiet and tidy boutique property. Great little beach on property, across A1A is a convenience/gas store. Walking distance is a retail center with WinnDixie. Rooms are essentially individual cottage with kitchenette, walk in shower, TV and little front porch. Dock space for a boat, all water amenities and protected lagoon for floating. Tavernier is very quiet and an easy drive south to Islamorada and all the shoppping and dining. Friendly staff and good place to stay for extended time as well "

"Internet is almost obsolete. Trouble connecting to WiFi. Great property. Awesome scones and the owners are great. I suggest paper towel should be added to the kitchen. "

"Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room."
