"This stay was so wonderful - thanks to friendly and helpful staff who were very responsive to issues, and an amazing farm tour and activities. One disappointment is we were not able to bike as there were no kids' size bikes available. Also, consider supplying the AfriCamps tents with citronella candles to help keep mosquitos away when outside in the evenings."

I think you should warn folk that their window is 3 feet away from the staff accommodation. At several stages I thought there were people actually in my room! "The road to and from the cottages is challenging for some. I was not fussed but my wife is scared of heights and in some parts was anxious of the sheer drop. The cottage takes you back in time as there is no electricity, hot water or mobile phone reception. I really enjoyed the seclusion and quietness but this may not be for everyone. The 'donkey' to have hot water takes me back to my childhood as it requires tender loving care and lots of patience and time. Here again, not for everyone but if...

"I was unaware it was a religious retreat. Found the whole religious theme unnerving. Then, we were billed an extra $50 plus dollars for each room told that Hotels.com price was wrong. We left at 7:30AM and got out of there."
