"Lovely hosts, with a nice hostel in a very nice garden with pool. Generous hosts who shared all kinds of fruits from their garden for free. Very good equiped kitchen, well kept and cosy. Top location with walking distance to the beach, the La Zenia boulevard shopping mall and lots of restaurants. Top recomendations from us."

Our return was not so good because there was a change of restaurant staff with dropped standards The previous staff were always cheerful and had enough English (serving all nationalities) to make eating there very pleasant. " This has been our 3rd stay at the hotel Lido. Personally my partner and myself Love it there for its convenience to the beach, restaurants and shops ect.. However it should be stressed to new visitors that the Lido like most hotels in the area is a 2 star hotel so don't expect 4 star decor also people new to the area should appreciate this is a working coastal town so don't expect the canary island experience. In saying this for those looking for a Spanish experience and a Lovely beach holiday...

"The staff at the front desk was very helpful; let me pay the following day after I had gone to a bank (hotel does not take credit cards) and ordered me a taxi for an early morning departure. "No wifi in rooms and only in reception.. bar and restaurant closed most evenings .. pool closed .. Access to wifi was a real problem for me and needing to sit in reception to do my work was very inconvenient. Furniture in rooms very uncomfortable.. Located in a good area but this time of the year most places are closed "

"It was a basic studio and was clean. Air con was good. Pool closes for 3 hours 2-5pm. Food in restaurant is very good and reasonable priced but for all the staff they have (5) service is terrible. I had to go bar and order in end as got sick of waiting even though it wasn’t busy. When we received meal i had to get up and ask for cutlery. No entertainment on night we stayed"

"To start, we went to check in and they didn't really speak to us, took us straight to a cabin, had problems with the door code but that was resolved quickly.
