"Very clean, simple room. Even though it was small it was very comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was that there was no space to stop and check in. I had to park very far away and walk there. Overall excellent value for the price and a great location!"

"A wonderful way to visit Lago Maggiore. The hotel has beautiful grounds and spectacular views of the lake. The service is excellent and very friendly. The hotel has a parking lot, which is very helpful. The area is very quiet. Stresa is about three kilometers away for a boat ride, a stroll, and numerous restaurants. Ideal place to visit the lake."

"I love staying here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located for transport connections and the lakeside. The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant inside and has recently had some attractrive internal rennovations including air conditioning to all rooms and key card access doors. My stay this time coincided with the Luci e Ombre festival and from my balcony I had the best posssible view of the fireworks on the lake on the final day. "

"Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other...

Was kindly upgraded to a private bathroom too and the 10% discount for the restaurant is a bonus which was excellent food. The woman on reception was very helpful and kind too. "Very convenient location for bus and train from Locarno train station. Just opposite to the train station. Easy to find. Lift to all floors, good breakfast. Newly renovated bathroom. Easy to walk to the lake, funicular, boat and nearby shopping area."
