"The staff is pretty friendly. I usually stay here when I'm passing through PG because I like the rates and being able to bring my dog outside. Due to the location, you do have to be mindful of drug paraphernalia in the surrounding areas (like the overflow parking lot), but that's not at the fault of the motel. I haven't run into any issues with people using drugs or being too noisy in the past few stays I've had at this motel. The kitchenette was useful for our takeout. I will stay here again. "

"Explanation of my scoring This hotel is undergoing major renovations in all areas. I’ve stayed here a few times during the reno’s including in the upgraded rooms. The staff have done a great job trying to make everyone’s stay as good as they can. The contractors are very courteous and respectful to the guests and understand the importance of the guests to the hotel. "Clean and comfortable. Nice bed, good shower, crappy pillows. Good breakfast choices. Downside - no elevator makes it difficult to get suitcases to upper floors"

"I paid for a suite to get a balcony but the room had some issues and they moved me to this other suite with 2 queen beds and a tiny window. I understand the situation was out of their control but the room I got instead was definitely a disappointment."

"My son was on a trip to Denali national Park and stayed at the Naco Inn in Vanderhoof after 12 hours on the road from Vancouver. I wanted to say how great his stay was from the moment we booked the reservation we felt like we were getting five star service. They welcomed my son by name when he arrived took excellent care of him. "Police had 3 cruisers there at 2;00 am to handle roudy people in parking lot. "
