“The staff here go above and beyond, the ‘glamping’ experience was great. Food was really nice but quite expensive. The safari company run joint with the camp was amazing and extremely well run. “We stayed for two night cause were visiting Udawalawe national park, which is about 30mis away so the hotel is a very good basepoint. Hotel is a walking distance from bus station and town central. “I can’t recommend this place enough! Great communication with Eric all the way through, we came a bit late, and before we could order our meals over email and it was ready. Great WiFi! “We had a fantastic stay at Lizard Safari Lodge. The rooms are clean and well kept, with a nice big bed, mosquito net and fan. Our room had a balcony which was great to sit out on in the late afternoon. Dinner was delicious on both nights of our stay (as was breakfast) with a good selection of food and very generous portion sizes!
