"The basement apartment is well located. It is clean and well equipped - communication from the booking organisation is good and clear. The local bakery and convenience store are fantastic and will provide well for your stay. The only drawback we found is that one of the bedrooms that was configured as the main room for our stay has the plant room (heating boiler) for the whole building with door access to it. I took this photo on August 27th in the Faroe Islands. This waterfall is one of the most picturesque and well-visited sights there. And one of the highlights of my trip! It was a dream to visit the Faroes and especially this waterfall. Am so glad I finally did :). And while popular with photographers it is still quite isolated! And compared to the waterfalls of Iceland it is not nearly as popular. Same with the Faroe Islands as a whole. And there was just a few other tourists when I was there at sunset. Also, before the completion of a tunnel in about 2006 this waterfall was even less visited as one had to travel over the mountains to get there. A much harder journey. But the scenery is incredible on the way! And even more so when you are there :).

"This is an excellent location, near to shops, restaurants and historic sites. The room, shared bathroom and public areas were clean with cooking and eating supplies.My frustration was the lack of a convenient wall outlet to charge a phone and bright bedside table lamps."
