"We had a noisy room next to the stairs. Lots of banging, clanging and thumps throughout the night. The elevators were terribly slow and crowded. We were disappointed by the breakfast. Overcrowded and running out of food with yours to go. The location was good. Beds and pillows were comfortable."

"1. Didn’t know where to park. Had to walk around in the street looking for parking options before finding there is a parking garage across the street underground. 2. I went to buy my kids food at the market around 7 and it was closed. Apparently the employee wanted to take a break so she closed the store. While we waited I sat down at the bar area and got told I had to move since my kids were with. I understand there are laws but we were just waiting for the market to open and watch basketball. 3. We got to the hotel around 11:00 and had to pay 50.00 to check in since we were early. If our room was ready, why not just let us check in? 4. Lastly, I didn’t know that parking would be 62.00. At that price you should have valet. This is the 1st place we’ve stayed in Chicago without valet in a long time, if ever. Overall, the place was nice, clean and convenient for the train station but let us down inways. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Sonesta! The view was beautiful and really made our experience even more special. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. One thing we really appreciated was that they allowed us to leave our baggage even after we checked out, so we could still roam around the city and enjoy our scheduled boat tour without any hassle. It made our trip so much more convenient and stress-free. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel!"
