"The hotel was disappointing for our trip - my advance message requesting a rollaway bed wasn't responded to, leading to extra hassle when we got there, which of course could so easily have been avoided, which would have been nice when on a long road trip. Main person on desk didn't speak English; I was told 'Ich spreche Deutsch.' Hadn't expected this from a front facing staff member in the hotel industry, accessed from a world-wide website, so you couldn't help but feel it was a local hotel for...

"This hotel exceeded our expectations! We were warmly welcomed by the staff. Offered great recommendations for shopping and dining. You can't beat the location. 5 minute walk to the ferry to Frauen and Herren Chiemsee. Loved that they had a huge parking area. Never had to worry about not having parking space. The room was phenomenal. Very modern and clean. Our terrace was wonderful with a lake view. Great sized bathroom. Will definitely return to stay here. "

"If you like smaller family owned hotels, this hotel and the owner is friendly, clean, my bed was nice and firm and comfortable. A very pleasant surprise is the breakfast area and the breakfast is delicious! Had a pleasant stay!"

"Pleasant accomodation. Managed efficiently with a minimum of staff. Check in only between 3 and 6, but key in secure box after that. Beds were a little hard and thd pillow was small. Traffic noise wuite apparent in early morning. Convenient fof festival at Earl."
