“Should you find yourself in Salatiga, staying here is a good choice. Very strategic location close to the city centre/main street. The hotel has a map of eateries, so you can sample Javanese cuisine. Rooms are spacious with large beds. I believe most rooms have a balcony so it's nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy Salatiga's relatively fresh air. Added bonus if your room is facing Mt Merbabu/Mt Merapi like mine was. Salatiga is not on the tourist track, but if you want to wander around...

“We were a bit disappointed on arrival - our room wasn't ready, and despite lots of staff being around, nobody helped us with our bags down the steps, or provided us any information about the hotel, restaurant, wifi, etc. The room was beautiful, though, and our small private pool was clean. We were disappointed by the breakfast offering - lots of open containers with flies landing on the food meant there wasn't really anything we felt comfortable eating.”
