"Lovely hotel and better than expected. Very clean, nicely remodeled and tastefully decorated. Centrally located across from the Mosel and on the promenade. Staff is very helpful and breakfast was the best we had in our week long stay in Germany. Definitely recommend."

"It was a beautiful location, well decorated and kept clean. They have an incredible breakfast setup too. We were very dissatisfied with the temperature in the room. We stayed in a room with a ‘ac’ air blower that didn’t work, and due to smokers outside we could not comfortably open the doors, which had no screens available to keep out bugs. It just needs a more realistic setup for hot temperatures."

"We made a last minute reservation, looking forward to staying along the Mosel River, and were thoroughly pleased with this inexpensive, charming hotel. Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable. "Great choice for an overnight stop driving further south, but next time, would like to stop for 3 nights to take advantage of the hotel bikes and cycle up and down the Mosel. Lovely sunny terrace for drinks and to eat our evening meal, and the breakfast was splendid."

"Nice hotel - nice staff and good service. However the room was very hot and with the windows open the traffic noise was continuous through out the night and early morning that made sleeping very difficult. If the room had been cooler I could have had the window closed it would have been fine."

We did get a parking ticket for being in the wrong spot, hotel needs to be more clear on where to park . Property and host were wonderful and view of the castle was amazing."
