"BLOCK hotel is simply lovely. Cosy base for Gozo. Quiet in winter months but wonderful scenery. South west Gozo has stunning cliffs and walks. Victoria the capital is nearby with buses thence to the whole island. I had the most relaxing time. Room was quiet, no window but not needed as only slept there. Food was amazing and barman and waitress charming. Live entertainment Thu-Sunday and a real hub for divers, if that is what you are into (Not me but seemed like a super professional set up)....

"Excellent stay. Just a short walk from the sea front.Very nice room with very comfortable bed and top quality bed linen. The only slight downside was the quality of the clothes hangers in the wardrobe, they were somewhat past their best. Very clean throughout. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of choice and good quality. Very friendly and helpful staff."

Un grand bravo aux propriétaires pour la décoration choisie avec soin. Tout est en accord parfait. Le couple est charmant, agréable et aux petits soins. Le petit dejeuner est fait-maison par le mari. ""Pool" is tiny, not big enough to swim in, more a plunge pool. Long, black hairs in the bed on arrival (I have short, brown hair). Hairs and stains and scuff marks on the sofa and chair. Wallpaper damaged, squeaky bed, towel rail broken in one bathroom, shower rail broken in the other. Kettle didn't work. Crockery was a mish mash, much of it was plastic picnicware. Could easily all have been fixed by a handyman in half a day. Apartments right below the Cittadella where the clock chimes loudly...

"Fabulous family run hotel. The couple who run the hotel are really friendly and helpful. Hotel is well finished and spotlessly clean. Great view if you get one of the rooms with a balcony. It’s an easy 10 minutes walk into the centre of Victoria."

"Very nice property to stay in. Classic style lovely flooring with great view of Citadel and access to centre. Private balcony good in Single Room. Competitive pricing. Only reason for couple points off is smaller bathroom."
