“The hotel stay was excellent, my whole family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teens) loved this hotel. We booked a studio room (double bed and a bunk bed). Room was very clean with a small kitchen area, dining table and a sofa.

“Ich war eine Woche lang im Gasthof Eiserne Hand und habe mich von Markus und Michael rundum versorgt gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist wirklich top, alles schmeckt frisch und und jeder Wunsch wird einem erfüllt.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und perfekt für eine Person, über das Waschbecken darin habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Das Gemeinschaftsbad und die Gemeinschaftsdusche waren immer sauber und sehr leicht zu erreichen vom Zimmer.

“Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. “We stayed 4 nights in July 2024. The apartment (217) was clean, hade everything we needed and had a beatuifum view of the mountains from the balcony. The common swimming pool area was also nice and clean with a play room and washing facilities.
