"We made a last minute reservation, looking forward to staying along the Mosel River, and were thoroughly pleased with this inexpensive, charming hotel. Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable. "The Hotel is not so good as it was last year,they only clean the room on request also you have to pay 8 Euros for parking,i don't know if i will bother to stay there again "

"Great choice for an overnight stop driving further south, but next time, would like to stop for 3 nights to take advantage of the hotel bikes and cycle up and down the Mosel. Lovely sunny terrace for drinks and to eat our evening meal, and the breakfast was splendid."

The team were very attentive. 10 % discount at next door pizzeria welcome extra. Well placed in centre of village wirh easy access to lots of great places to visit."

"Property was great, difficult to find due to small one way roads. We were directed where to park, up/down steep hill and with limited ability it was difficult. We did get a parking ticket for being in the wrong spot, hotel needs to be more clear on where to park . Property and host were wonderful and view of the castle was amazing."

"Nice country hotel, if you plan however to wake up ealy next morning, watch out for overnight parties! In my case, I was relocated two times (at my request, of course, they seem not to have thought about it) until I ended up in a room a little smelly (but at least I could sleep)."

"The lady who checked us in would not let us use the elevator. Another lady came up to us as we started the stairs and said use the elevator. The check in clerk, older white lady, said no elevator. The other lady looked at her with shock when the clerk told her in German we are not to use the elevator. I have a hip,knee and shoulder replacement. This was a struggle and not nice of her. We found and used the elevator from then on The people in the morning on our check out were wonderful "

"The hotel is very clean and creatively decorated with the owner's own art. The room has a little balcony. Our room overlooked the road and a football field - not super gorgeous, but cool nonetheless. The bed was a little uncomfortable because it might have been memory foam that is not even and it felt like we were leaning and falling as we slept! But honestly the room was great. "The location was a little secluded but walkable to restaurants by the river. The room was clean and spacious. I recommend this hotel if you can’t get anything closer to the city."

"A very friendly and well kept hotel with a fantastic kitchen and some lovely wines, as you might expect from a hotel in the Mosel. We dined in on 2 nights out of three and had very well prepared local food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My only minor criticism is that their ability to deal with credit and debit cards was iffy. That said, we were able to settle our bill without having to resort to cash. "
