"The location of Le Bovallon was perfect for us. It was a short walk to Mahebourg and far enough from the town to be nice and quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and the beaches of Pointe d'Esny and Blue Bay (best snorkelling on the island) are a 5-10 drive away. "Had a wonderful 10 day stay at Chantauvent. Behind the hotel is Blue Bay beach, one of the best beaches in Mauritius. Great opportunity to snorkel and see marine life. "In the first place there was no staff at the place when checking in at 8pm. Luckily, someone showed up after ringing the bell several times. Rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Noisy surrounding and a lot of nose during the whole night, barely couldn’t sleepy. Nevertheless, used this hotel only to get easy to the airport the next day"
