“A great staff, a great location, a great restaurant and selection of food”

“Great location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance. Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. Travelled with family. Room accommodated 3 adults with room to spare. ”

“We loved the apartment- it felt like home away from home. The views of the ocean and surrounding mountains were breathtaking. We really loved the location- it was very quiet, we had access to a small grocery store right down the road, and were close to many of the top spots to visit on Skye. We also loved meeting our hosts Tricia and Neil, who were very kind, helpful, considerate and friendly. We will definitely be back! ”

“Overall, a great lodging in the heart of a quaint community. It was just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and a grocery. (BTW, if you arrive late, like we did shortly after 8, either quickly make to a restaurant–most close their kitchens by 8:30–or do what we did, go down the street toward the grocery near the water's edge and pick up things you can cook). Like all the B&Bs in UK that we stopped at, the fridge is not stocked so you will have to stock it yourself and then probably dump or...
