"The views from this guest house are spectacular. Our host, Ian, was attentive, informative, and helpful in every way. The room was very comfortable and well-furnished. There was some confusion in finding the guest house--I forgot to write down the phone number to contact our host--but staff at the nearby hotel helped us find our host. "Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!"
