"Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular. The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing. "We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after. "
