"Spectacular location. Beautiful little self contained rorbuer (traditional red fisherman’s cottage) with a view across the water. Easy to prepare a meal in the cottage. Equally easy to walk over and have an excellent meal at the hotel restaurant. Much quieter and calmer than Svolvær which we really liked. Very interesting museum and art gallery a very short walk away."

"The hotel is in an older building that has been nicely updated. Note no elevator. Rooms are smallish but well appointed. Comfortable beds! Bathroom is very clean; shower only. A short walk to the main street, and other shops and restaurants. The dinner and breakfast here are very good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Everyone speaks English well, which I greatly appreciated. "

"Great place, super clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is a little pricey but at the same time great options and good products. The bed was very comfy and not single beds, which seems hard to find. The sauna was also great, only bummer was the windows of the sauna were really dirty from people jumping and splashing the windows. So the view from the sauna wasn’t as we thought. "This is a lovely, remote and charming restaurant with rooms above where we stayed (you can also rent cabins). The rooms on the floor above the restaurant are clean and comfortable but do not have en suite bathrooms. Shared bathrooms are down the hall. However, there is the convenience of being in the same building as the restaurant since there are so few eating establishments in the village. "The marketing photo (above) is a misleading advertisement. There are studios built on stilts overlooking our accommodation and blocking the advertised sea view. The properties website does not currently show them either. Total misrepresentation and underhandedness"
