"Excellent property, well managed. Stayed in a family suite. Food was a bit oily though and can be improved."

"A good clean resort at the center of the town but still close to nature. View points are quite nearby. Food is not luxury levels. Though simple, its healthy food. They have a good clean swimming pool. I wouldn't recommend the spa though."

"Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. "

"Nice property near Thekkady. Clean and friendly staff."

"In our villa there was no internet for the whole day.Even after we requested . Rest every thing was good ..! We enjoyed a lot "

"The price was too high for the private pool attached room. The pool was very dirty and unsafe for kids. "

"We had a very nice stay, 25 min walk from the park ! The rooms were nice, clean and peaceful ! "

"The staff were great and very helpful. The building is worn but clean and functional. Internet in room spotty at best, water intermittently warm. In sit restaurant good, breakfast OK , no fruit or toaster. Saw bison out my window. "

"The front desk staff was good, the breakfast was excellent and tasty. We also had a issues where the staff was suppose to deliver a case of water we brought and they delivered it to the wrong room. They replaced it with a case but just two small issues. Overall good experience and would stay again if going through the area. "

" Very helpful, from front to room, always ready to help, "

"Unsatisfactory service from the staff. we stayed there for 1 day. During the booking from Hotels.com, we had included breakfast with our stay. But when we went for breakfast, staff argued with us that our reservation didnt include breakfast. Even after showing the email confirmation of our reservation which clearly mention the "free breakfast", they continued to argue with us that the reservation on their side shows "stay only" & if we want breakfast , it has to be chargeable & we should get a...
