"We as a couple, so much enjoyed our stay at Guest House Kumano Yasai. The owner was kind and knows local well. The guest house welcomes one group per day, so you can make your stay special there with your loved ones. I guess the owner( Japanese) speaks English fluently, so you don’t need to worry about language! Meals were also amazing! Her bentos made us happy and got more energy to attack Komanokodo next day! We definitely go back to Guest House Kumanokodo again!"

"the place is an island on it's own and looks like a James Bond villain base from the outside. Inside it's got so many baths and just cool areas to explore. The room itself is comfortable and there's even a little convenience store near the front desk so you can get room snacks easily. I picked up some of the pickled plum udon noodles to cook at home and they were delicious! Meals are a little crowded as they're buffet style but the food itself is amazing and so many different things to try. I recommend coming here at least once and staying two nights if you can."
