“I like the character and location of the property and the staff are doing the best that they can. The property is dated and in need of investment. The bedroom could have been a bit cleaner (hoovering the carpet which did not seem to happen during my stay) and the bedding did not fit the mattress. The staff were kind and helpful though some better manners from certain bar staff would have gone a long way. The food was great.”

“The room was clean with usual facilities. Staff friendly. Parking excellent. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. Only toast or cereal supplied as part of the Bed and breakfast charge. Anything else had to be paid for as an extra. This wasn't expected and for the price of the room we feel that at the very least a continental style breakfast could have been supplied. We ended up going to a local cafe for a decent breakfast every day of our stay.”

“Hotel ideally positioned for beach, walking & exploring Falmouth. Hotel looks a bit tired, room carpet stained, paintwork chipped & outside area’s overgrown. But despite it’s quirkiness the hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Room very clean but housekeeping only made bed (which I could easily have done myself) & night wear just dumped on bedside table. Sink & shower not wiped round. Walls are quite thin, I clearly heard a man yell out in the early hours, sounded like he had cramp!! Staff very...

“Beautiful old world building with lovely rooms, bar the bathroom being upstairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good especially the breakfast. Very disappointed that they had a special curry and pint offer where you couldn't have and alternative drink and when we ordered the curry anyway we were charged £20 without the beer wheras it was £15 with the beer!”

“We had a lovely lodge that was secluded, quiet, and private. We really enjoyed the open design and it felt calming and relaxing. The grounds were beautiful and inviting, with sea views from our restaurant dining room table! We definitely want to return, but for a longer stay in the not-so distant future!”
