“the staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the one factor that helped us choose this hotel was the pool. So disappointing. The pool water was very cloudy. There were objects on the pool floor. Both are signs of a poorly maintained pool. We did not feel comfortable or safe using it.”

“The place is in a beautiful spot but totally run down. The staff does not care about the guests and will do nothing to help. No coffee until like 7:45 if you’re lucky. No complimentary coffee as advertised. Really disappointed all around. Place is so old and smelly. If you like nursing homes than you might enjoy staying. Sorry but true. “Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life.
