"It's not front of the beach and not a chain hotel. But it pays more than back by the rooms within a family owned historic villa and unique atmosphere. Nice and clean rooms. Sustainable environment. Parking on site.Delicious breakfast selection and charming friendly people around you. Great place for holidays at De Panne / Middelkerke / Westende / Ostende / Oostende / De Haan etc. Pubs and Restaurant nearby. Tram nearby. You can walk to the beach...we mostly took the car :)"

Love the decor of the hotel and rooms, the understated luxury is palpable, Bar is excellent The only objection is that we were given a room without windows (yes, no windows!). No mention in the reservation or at check in on this "detail". The room was beautiful, but never experienced something like this in a 5 star property (or any property)"

"The hotel was pretty central, two minutes walk from the sea so that was certainly an added plus. Service was excellent, the receptionists were kind, welcoming and very helpful. The hotel bar is super cozy, with really lovely staff. The room was generally comfortable, though it felt quite cold, despite the heating being on (it was around 2-0 degrees outside). Another downside was the slight smell of smoking just outside the room. The wellness centre was fine, not exceptional but it has...

"Our first time in such a property. We should have planned ahead a bit better - i.e. took some basic groceries with us to avoid having to find a shop in the dark and rain. The property was fantastic - classy, cozy and spacious. The Tram was nearby. We ate at the Waterline and the Royal. Suggest visit to De Haan and Blanckenberg. "

"Our stay at Casinohotel was great. We were in koksidje for a bike race and stayed the night. The soaker tub and breakfast spread were definitely highlights. The room was also quite large for a European hotel."
