"Great hotel in a superb position for the slopes. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub. The family room we stayed in was excellent with a large bed downstairs and 2 singles for the children on the mezzanine. My only negative would be €30 per night to park a car which was not freely accessible so needed to get staff to let you into the car park. All the staff we excellent. "

"This was my favorite 24 hours out of a 2 week trip to Europe! The Chateau is straight out of a fairy tale. We were greeted by two lovely women who brought us champagne and snacks while getting our room ready. We spent a couple hours in the spa enjoying the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and specialty teas. "An exquisite hotel taking full advantage of its 15th century historical foundations- quiet but located close to the action - restaurants, bars and all the cultural centres. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. An absolute joy all round. Only criticism (not mentioned at the time) was the bathroom didn’t have a proper shower or curtain- a walk in shower would have been wonderful (but we appreciate the constraints of a medieval building). Thoroughly recommended!"

"Great location in the city. Walking distance to everything. The room is very comfortable with a separate shower and toilet. Loved the drinking water in the hallway. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly. "

"The reception was poorly manned and very slow, we were seen but ignored at first. We were unable to get breakfast before 08:00, but we need to leave before that and they would not help us at all. Getting out of the grounds before then was very difficlut."

"The service staff were very nice and helpful with everything. I was a little dismayed to find out no one is there after 11pm. My room was comfortable, bed, etc, bathroom, windows and parking on site. it is well situated for walking, you can walk for miles and find anything you need. I would stay here again. "

"The castle is dramatic in it's contruction and the tour well worth the time. The hotel is part of the fort itself and is old and charming. Some rooms are being updated, but ours was already good. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking easy."

"We stayed for 1 night travelling back north. Great location, there was no noise despite its proximity to the airport. It's very dog friendly , welcoming hotel and the staff were super friendly. Bed was a tad hard for me hence the 4 stars but we would definitely stay again"

"We had booked two rooms and surprised to find we weren't in the main hotel but an apartment opposite. The rooms were lovely and it was great to have the place to ourselves. We had two apartments, each two bedrooms. Each apartment was well equipped and had very comfy beds, pillow and simply the most amazingly soft towels! There was a kitchenette, and the fridge had bottled water in it. It was a little noisy at night but it was the murmur of voices rather than music and it didn’t stop us from...
