"Lovely stay - very welcoming and flexible with check in time. Spacious room and quiet location. We were in a top level room which was on the third floor - be aware there is no lift as you would expect staying in a heritage building. Stairs were nice and wide which made it easier to carry luggage. "

Excellent staff with helpful recommendations and assistance with restaurant bookings, etc. Very good breakfast with fresh juices, pastry, cheeses and cooked eggs or omelettes available upon request. Everything we wanted to see was within a short walk including the train station which we used for the short trip to Dijon for a day. "

"The hotel did not honour the hotels.com prepayment and we were charged twice. When this was raised with the hotel the refund from hotels.com was not a full refund and included a £90 charge. Very disappointing"

"The atmosphere is so relaxed and beautiful! It is in the middle of a tiny village surrounded by wine yards. Tastefully decorated inside and outside. Must try the breakfast elegantly served! We travelled with a wheelchair in the family. The hotel staff was super nice and arranged our rooms to suit our special needs. Beaune is a 10-minute drive away, where we took a winery tour and tasting. Villa Louise is a wonderful stop in Burgundy!"
