"The hosts were very helpful and helped us plan the best activities for our stay and organise them. The view from our balcony and the shared lounge were fabulous. Food and refreshments were excellent. We would happily return if in New Zealand again and would recommend it as a great location and place to stay if asked. The scenery and closeness to Queen Charlotte Track were wonderful. "

"We stayed at Furneaux Lodge while walking the Queen Charlotte Track in February, 2024. After hiking the ~10 miles on the first day through a symphony of cicadas and outstanding views, feeling hot and tired, we walked into the magical oasis that is Furneaux Lodge. The setting is absolutely dreamy with a large grassy yard leading down to a pretty beach. It feels tranquil and elegant. We'd splurged on a suite and were astounded by how beautiful it was.
