Top 88 Pacific Crest Trail Trailhead Hotel Reviews
Hood River Hotel
8/10 Good
"Funky old hotel with lots of charm. We had two rooms (on first and second floor) with both located on the back side of the hotel. This put us very close to the train tracks and the train was busy while we were there. Parking is free 6 pm - 8 am and we paid for it by the hour using an app after 8 am. We never had trouble getting a parking spot close to the hotel. The town is lovely - very walkable with lots of fun places to eat. Felt very safe there at night. Front desk very helpful. Only drawback is the power outlets for each bed were located behind the beds. Lucky for us we had power strips with very long cords but could be a problem with a 3-foot phone charging cable."
"I stayed in a tiny king room. It was definitely small and would be perfect for a solo traveler. The room was immaculate and cozy. The hot soak tub and sauna were so nice to have available. Everything was within walking distance too. I will be back!"
"It has become a tradition for us to stay one night here on our way to SF.
We love the retro vibe, great bar, wonderful salmon dinner, beautiful grounds and view of Columbia River with waterfall below."
