The hotel is located on a quiet street a few minutes’ walk from the scenic area of Nyhavn, pictured on all the postcards. The building is pretty and neat and the single room, while small, was very clean and functional and perfect for a solo traveller. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens immaculate. The cafe/bar on the main floor was a great place to relax and the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The vibe is peaceful and relaxed and I definitely would go back and highly recommend for an inexpensive stay.

I really wanted to like this hotel because there is a lot to like. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely tried to help whenever we had an issue. Unfortunately, the air conditioning failed on multiple days. It was repaired once, only to fail again, leaving the room around 27°C, which made it very difficult to sleep. Staff confirmed that the hotel-wide AC system was experiencing issues and that many guests had complained. The hotel was fully booked, so moving to another room was not an option, although I am not sure how true this was for the first night. The Wi-Fi was also inconsistent. If the AC and Wi-Fi are working, I imagine this is an excellent place to stay. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot rate it higher.

My partner recently stayed here for work. He said the apartment was spacious, clean and very close to the station, which he required. He bought food essentials at the supermarket close by. He loved the apartment and would stay here again. Contact with Frederik for the check-in details and entrance information was seamless.
