Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to. "We had an amazing stay at Rui’s villas! The place was impeccably clean and featured a cool surf-themed interior that we absolutely loved. On arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, some delicious Pastel De Nata, and fresh bread, which was a lovely touch. The pool was conveniently located right outside our door, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing swim whenever we wanted. "The Hotel Golf Mar is dated it's true but it's also clean, peaceful & has multiple dining options. "Beautiful hotel inside the wall right at one of the side entrances. Beautiful lobby area with outside patio, beautiful room with excellent bedding and remodeled bathroom with window facing the tower wall, x el lent breakfast buffet. Hotel gives you access to tour the tower palace since it belongs to the same group. They also offer a shuttle to the train station. The bus stop is only 7 minutes walk to hotel"

"Very well designed and maintained Hotel within a Golf resort. Very helpful staff ( especially Alexander @ the Reception) ! Close to many vineyards, we were attending a wedding at one of them. Uber easily available ( average 10-12 mins wait )"

"We had a lovely stay. The hotel was nice with lovely common areas and rooms were large. Good location if you’re planning on surfing and going to the beach. Going into the city is a long (30 min) walk or short drive. Staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had a nice spread. Definitely recommend this place, especially if you come in a car so you can drive around Peniche because there’s some absolutely stunning views off the cliffs."
