It’s a modest motel, but it has a character, in big part due to its wonderful hostess. On a modest budget, it is a very well run family type motel, where you are treated as a long awaited cousin…it can benefit from some updating, but it is very clean, with comfortable beds and traditional yet clean bathroom, place. It’s a hard-to-find gateway to Olympic NP overnight stay, in a town that had a brighter past due to logging and fishing (some old buildings are amazing!), but living modestly now, they are really trying! I would decently stay there again.

The couple who own the place are so warm and friendly. We couldn't ask for a nicer welcome. The room was smaller, but had everything we needed. The beds are memory foam mattresses and are amazing!

The hotel has a very '70s roadside Motel vibe. Parking is very easy. The owners actually came into the parking lot and graded us when we got there. The Bed was Pure Heaven with two different choices of pillow thickness for side and back sleepers. The room and bathroom were clean with great shower pressure. There are many good places to eat within 10 minute drive.

This was easily the best check-in experience I've ever had at a motel. The owners greeted us and gave us a choice between two rooms. They were very helpful. And the beds are all new memory foam mattresses. This is a big deal for me since I need at least a medium-firm mattress for my back, and these beds were great! Would certainly stay here again.

Our room and bathroom were nice and very clean but rather small, with little place to put our stuff. We had one queen bed with two night stands with built-in USB and AC sockets (very convenient!) and two lamps above them. There was also a small table with two chairs, but it was a bit dark there because there were no other lamps in the room. A kitchen nook had a fridge and another table with a microwave on it, so not much space was left. More lamps and a place to put a suitcase, clothes, toiletries, etc. would make it a more comfortable place to stay. We were rather satisfied anyway. Parking was easy, in front of the room. The property looked nice and well maintained. The lady who is the host/owner was very nice and exceptionally helpful.

I love this place and I stay here every time I need a motel in the area. The hosts are fabulous and friendly and anxious to please all of their guests. When was the last time a motel proprietor actually came out to greet you when you arrived at a lodging? I prefer family-run motels over big corporate chains where rude people slam their doors at all times of the day and night and children run up and down the halls. The room is always clean and I'm never afraid to touch surfaces wondering if they were really actually wiped down. Enjoy your stay!
