“ Very pleasant owners. Staff also. Unique in its appearance, rooms clean and warm very old building but well looked after, excellent for a central holiday in Aberdeenshire and Angus, very central to Perth, Dundee, and Aberdeen. A nice walk to the Tay, and your also on the edge of the Cairngorms.”

“Booked a room, no email 24hrs before with information. Turned up with the manager, who was luckily on site, not knowing a single thing about us arriving. Got put in a room not big enough for us. Owner claimed we hadnt booked the right room, which wasnt true. The manger was lovely and helpful but the owner wasnt. Room TV was smashed so couldnt be used. This is more like a hostel, bathrooms arent private but shared. Wouldn't recommend and definitely wont be returning. Not worth the money.”

“Had a lovely weekend stay at this hotel staff very friendly and rooms modern and very clean I didn’t book for breakfast did visit the bar and dining area which was spotless. The hotel is in good location just a few minute walk to centre I will definitely stay here again.”

“Stay here regularly. We booked a more expensive king bed room, was told on arrival we had the best room however when we got there the room was far from an upgraded room and looked more tired than their standard room and wasn’t a king bed in it, the staff very kindly moved us to another room which was far better however it was so hot and even with the fan supplied on all night and window opened, it was uncomfortably hot. Great hotel, but I would choose the basic room in future as the upgraded...

“The front desk staff double as restaurant staff - so was challenging to get someone at the front desk when needed. But everyone was friendly”
