โWe loved staying at the Aqua Natura Bay in Porto Moniz. The infinity pool has an spectacular view of the North side of the island. Rooms were clean, beds and pillow were comfy. Delicious breakfast included. The only thing I would like to point out is the parking limitation. However, they offered to pay for parking outside the hotel property. โI stayed at Saccharum Resort & Spa and while the stunning views are an obvious highlight, what really stood out to me was the hotelโs design.
It honours its past as a former sugar cane factory โ with original machinery cleverly integrated into the lobby and hallways. Think softened brutalism: raw textures balanced by warm materials, plenty of natural light, and an organic palette that ties everything back to the surrounding mountains.
