"Lovely little bolt hole next to a great pub. The bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. The outside seating is overlooked by the main road and due to roadworks it was a bit too busy with standing traffic to sit outside. The pub next door was very good and we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the next day."

"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "This is an iconic and truly lovely venue which we’ve been using for 20plus years. Its new parking regime is complicated, the app is frustrating and it genuinely distracts from a lovely place to relax and unwind. Have to constantly top up the stay. Which is a pain but when there is so little phone coverage is positively annoying. Shame, as it’s really put us off and changed our thoughts on using it for work and leisure going forward. Staff are utterly lovely, professional and friendly."
