I would not stay here in the future. Although the hotel is very old, the rooms were not terrible. The shower floods the bathroom floor and you have to walk on puddle after getting out of the shower. The WiFi is terrible. You have to go downstairs and get a three day vouchers. You have to get the vouchers every three days which is really inconvenient. The food is terrible. Service at the restaurant at breakfast time is good but other times you have to chase the employees to pay for your food. Room cleaning service was very good. Front staff is hit or miss, depends which employee is working. Finally, use the elevator with caution. I was stuck in the middle elevator for what seemed like 3 minutes. After that incident I used the stairs from the seventh floor.

I had a great stay at the Friendship International Hotel. Great, friendly, and very helpful staff, first class services, an amazing room with everything, all for a very read price. Very appealing and clean hotel with great art work. Only five minutes from the airport by shuttle in a beautiful and modern part of town. Will gladly stay here again on my next visit. JN

I've stayed here at least 4 times in recent years. The staff is always friendly. The breakfast is outstanding. The wifi simply didn't work in the lobby or room, even after asking assistance, it still would not work. The bed is not comfortable but he area is nice and staff always helpful.

Staff are great and helpful. However, when a hotel rates itself a 4-Star, service, food quality, cleanliness, shower, toilets etc should meet the requirements. Showers do not drain, toilet is smelly, mini fridge barely works.., pillows are most uncomfortable and do not meet 4-Star standard. Furthermore: safe box did not have proper easy to follow instructions… and can be easily opened by any one, just terrible. We arrived early and were told No breakfast on the first checkin day.., fair enough but some consideration would have appreciated especially that we had with us a baby 9 months old. We asked for drinking water at some stage because our 9 month old baby needed baby formula… we were told no water can be given as the daily ration is two 600mLs bottles per day. Just terrible. We were 3 guests including a child… and to have 2 towels per day is just ridiculous. Wifi is weak and slow. Finally: staff are friendly and they try to help when help is needed. We booked a hotel and not just staff help, the hotel is just terrible for the price. I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone and would surely not want to stay there ever again. Showers leak, the spa also leaks and does not even work … toilet papers - there was hardly any… just one toilet paper for 3 guests … was just ridiculous… pillows are of poor quality … food quality and food variety was just poor… please remedy all the problems. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful.
