"This was a such a charming hotel in the most charming village. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. (Rooms do not come with refrigerators and they arranged to have one placed in my room for my medication). As it was an old monastery the atmosphere is magical. Be careful you could spend your entire time here at the pool and in the gardens they are so peaceful. The room was perfectly air conditioned even though it was in the upper 90s. We paid for a room with a view of the Danube and the view was perfect. You will be thankful you booked a stay at the Richard Lowenhertz."
"Great location on the edge of downtown Melk so out of heavy traffic. Staff always ready to help. Breakfast was fresh and enough to kickoff the day. Room as expected and due to high temperatures (>95°F), they had a cooling fan as well explained how to use the awnings to aid in cooling. Can't acknowledge that the staff was superb and attentive. Worth a visit"
"I received my code on time and had no trouble finding the hotel; check-in was super easy.
The room was clean, as were the bathroom and bed. The room was quite spacious. I would suggest adding a mini-fridge for food and drinks. Or they could have some vending machines with drinks and snacks inside the hotel.
