I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel.”

“I know Greece very well, I have stayed in many “traditional” apartments. But there is a difference between traditional and so old it needs serious work. I booked as I was on business in the area for a couple of days. Any longer I would have moved. Now believe me the owner and his friend were fabulous, so hospitable and nothing a problem but I could not return to stay here again which breaks my heart for them.
