“Great service and restaurant! Peaceful and nature! Not expecting any better!!”

“In deze stad in binnenlanden van Basalicata ligt dit hotel. We hadden een ruime, nette en schone kamer met airconditioning en een balcon. Onze auto (mits niet elektrisch of op gas) mochten we in de garage van het hotel parkeren. Ruime toegang met veel ruimte via een steile ingang. Auto stond daar heerlijk in de koelte. ‘s Ochtends mochten we in de bar kiezen wat we wilden eten voor het ontbijt. Sapjes, cappuccino, yoghurt gevulde croissants etc. De eigenaar was zeer gastvrij en niets was teveel....

“Hotel Venusia is a beautiful hotel in the rather remote town of Venosa. We were there for two nights at the end of October, which was clearly off season. Our hotel room was large and clean, with a nice balcony. The downside was the bed was very hard, and the bathroom, particularly the shower, very small. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly, even though we speak no Italian. Breakfast was good, and we also had dinner both nights, which was very good and inexpensive. We didn’t find...

“We could not believe the enormity of the property and great condition it was in. The art and furniture were beautiful, the surroundings and gardens were magnificent and the food and hospitality excellent. Everyone was available to help and we felt as if it was one of the best properties we have ever stayed at. If you have the opportunity to stay there, by all means choose it. As they say in Italy - Molto Bene!!!”
