I would recommend using this as a base and using the trains to travel to Monterrosso and then taking the ferry or walking down the route. If you plan to spend your whole day out and just use this for sleeping, it's perfect. If you're not used to any noise, the trains are a little loud, but it was actually surprisingly quiet for the location."
