"Nice quiet village to stay in. Most everything we needed was there, just missing a few things in the kitchen but we managed without. No printed house rules or instructions that we could find. Luckily we've lived in Germany the past 10 years (we're Americans) so we know what to expect for trash, quiet hours, etc."

The location is perfect, a 7-minute walk to the town center, which made exploring Freiburg very convenient. Tom was a fantastic host, he greeted us warmly, checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and shared excellent restaurant recommendations. "I don't think the pictures do the property justice. Once we arrived and saw the house, we knew we'd picked the right place. So much room. We never felt crowded (7 of us). Everything worked. The kitchen was a proper kitchen with lots of equipment that you'd have in your own home. We can't fault it and would definitely recommend and come back!! Lovely area with the added prospect of seeing beavers!! We didn't but saw how busy they'd been. "
