"I would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing, the property is quiet, the pool and sauna were great. For a family of four, we had the Deluxe Apartment and it was plenty of space. The rooms were large, the bathtubs overlooking the woods were amazing. There are a couple restaurants not too far away, but we ended up going to the grocery store and cooking at home because we wanted to spend most of our time in the room. "

The location is perfect, a 7-minute walk to the town center, which made exploring Freiburg very convenient. Tom was a fantastic host, he greeted us warmly, checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and shared excellent restaurant recommendations. "Nice quiet village to stay in. Most everything we needed was there, just missing a few things in the kitchen but we managed without. No printed house rules or instructions that we could find. Luckily we've lived in Germany the past 10 years (we're Americans) so we know what to expect for trash, quiet hours, etc."
